LayTec AG, a leader in in-situ thin-film metrology, and Korea Kiyon Co., Ltd., a specialist in advanced PVD systems, announced a strategic cooperation to 

integrate LayTec’s PearL in-situ photoluminescence (PL) system into Korea Kiyon’s PVD chambers for perovskite thin-film fabrication.

This integration enables real-time, non-destructive monitoring of perovskite layer composition during deposition, 

combining Korea Kiyon’s high-performance PVD technology with PearL’s sensitive PL measurements. 

Researchers and manufacturers gain precise process control, improved reproducibility, and faster development.

PearL, designed for room-temperature deposition, provides insight into material composition, bandgap, and film quality, 

helping optimize processes and enhance yield.
